There's not much else to look forward to for the 49ers' faithful

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- With Week 15 of the NFL season in the books, we offer our weekly examination of where the San Francisco 49ers stand in the 2017 NFL draft order.
At 1-13 and in the middle of a 13-game losing streak, there's not much else to look forward to for the 49ers' faithful. There's now just two weeks left to go in the regular season, meaning that draft
position is starting to solidify much like the playoff picture. For now, the Niners remain in position to land the second overall pick, only behind the winless Cleveland Browns.
Last week's games were nearly very good to the Niners, who came within a whisker of all but sewing up no worse than that No. 2 pick. Alas, the cooperation the 49ers almost got went up in flames in
the final moments of the Jacksonville-Houston and Green Bay-Chicago games.
The 2-12 Jaguars seemed to have their third win in hand but blew it late and fell to the Texans by a point. A Jacksonville win would have separated it from the Niners by two games with the tiebreaker
likely to go to the Niners. Because of that tiebreaker, the 49ers are still in a good spot but it would have all but wrapped up the second pick had the Jaguars finished the job.Wholesale Jerseys
The Bears, meanwhile, nearly pulled off a comeback against the Packers before succumbing to a last-second field goal. At 3-11, Chicago is already two games clear of the Niners and beat them head to
head, so it is unlikely the Niners would fall below them in the pecking order.
Meanwhile, the Niners still remain in the hunt for the No. 1 overall pick if only the Browns would cooperate and win a game. wholesale jerseys

as the favorite to get the No. 1 pick if they have the same record as Cleveland.
